Greetings everyone, I'm Nathan Stephens, the Director here at AES. My journey in the automotive and electronics industry began around 2012 when I commenced my career as an Automotive Technician at a small business in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne. During my time there, I honed my skills while working on cutting-edge models, including the latest Audi's and VW's, as well as occasional supercars that graced our shop. This experience was instrumental in shaping my growth and laying the foundation for the mission I later envisioned for AES.

As the years unfolded, I progressed from dismantling brand-new Audi Q5s to undertaking intricate work on Lamborghini Huracans. Around this juncture, I underwent a change of direction and transitioned into a sales role. I joined Autobarn and furthered my knowledge, eventually becoming the Victorian and SA Sales Representative for the esteemed company Alpine Electronics. Despite the excitement and learning experiences, I found myself yearning for more alignment with my passion for cars and electronics.

In 2018, I founded AES as a passion project, initially driven by contracting leads. What began as an on-site business servicing customers at their homes and workplaces soon evolved into a thriving venture. Despite not having a workshop initially, I persevered, even starting a YouTube channel to showcase our processes and techniques.

Fast forward to the present, and AES boasts a successful YouTube channel, a well-equipped workshop in Cheltenham, and a cohesive team of like-minded individuals. Together, we encourage each other to deliver our absolute best each day.

My current focus revolves around maintaining the high standards of workmanship and attention to detail that define AES. While aspiring for growth, I believe in a measured and deliberate approach to ensure our continued success.
